Night LPN Nurse-$3000 Sign-on Bonus

Schedule:

6PM – 6AM night shift, full time with night shift differential.

Location:

St Joseph, MO

Qualifications & Details:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Kansas LPN license.
  • A caring & loving personality and demeanor.
  • Leadership and mentorship skills.
  • Ability to work your scheduled shift.
  • Ability to read, write & speak English.

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the clinical care and quality of life of residents, ensuring all rights are protected.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
  • Check residents daily to ensure proper administration of prescribed treatment and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
  • Keep the RN Supervisor informed about resident status and related matters.
  • Implement recommended changes directed by RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
  • Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, dressing changes, colostomy bag management, specimen collection, etc., as per policies.
  • Complete required record‑keeping forms/charts upon admission, discharge, transfer, and forward to appropriate department.
  • Give and receive nursing reports during shift changes.
  • Investigate complaints and grievances and report to RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
  • Present a professional image to residents and families.
  • Adhere to all policies and standards.
