Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Body Shop painter to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a background in professional/industrial painting and be familiar with the use of various paints, primers, and sealants. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, applying paint to surfaces, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work are essential qualities for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by sand blasting, sanding, scraping and washing.
• Mix paint and other materials to create the desired color and texture.
• Apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, or other finishes to equipment or structures.
• Inspect painted surfaces for defects and make necessary repairs.
• Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools.
• Follow safety regulations when using hazardous materials.
• Clean up after painting projects.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Auto painting (preferred) Different types of Equipment painting is a necessity.

License/certification:

• Driver's license (required)
