Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer provides technical expertise and support for current manufacturing operations and processes. This role focuses on improving efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness across production workflows.

Duties/Responsibilities- Provide support, technical advice and troubleshooting for current manufacturing operations and processes.
- Innovate and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement.
- Help manage manufacturing/assembly workflows and assembly layouts to drive efficiency, consistency, and safety.
- Define and implement Kit/BOM structure, part level SOE, critical assemblies, and packaging.
- Standardize part, Kit/BOM descriptions across ERP and engineering. Support the development of Kit/BOM installation instructions as technical expert.
- Develop manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures as well as tooling, assembly jigs, assembly manuals for current manufacturing and assembly.
- Work closely with Supply Chain on build schedules, optimum on‑hand inventory to maximize and maintain flexible bin locations.
- Enhance Quality Control of manufacturing and assembly by implementing standardized assembly and testing procedures.
- Identify and execute continuous improvement changes with design engineering.
- Develop manufacturing BOM Drawing revision control process and implement Engineering Change Request. Differentiate Engineering BOMs and Manufacturing BOMs.
- Work with Design engineering on implementation in production process, recommend and help implement design changes for ease or efficiency of assembly.
- Coordinate with EHS where engineering support is necessary.
This position does not currently have supervisory responsibilities.
ExpensesThe employee will be issued a company credit card to use for all travel and other expenses incurred while executing the duties of the position. You will complete an expense report and return it in a timely manner.
