Production Manager
Position Summary
The Final Assembly Supervisor is responsible for organizing and overseeing final assembly operations to meet production schedules while ensuring quality standards are upheld and rework is minimized. This role requires close collaboration with other department supervisors and a strong focus on problem‑solving, process optimization, and employee development. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, a hands‑on mindset, and the ability to foster a high‑performing, safety‑conscious team.

Reports To: Production Manager
Key Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the final assembly team to meet production goals
- Maintain standardized work instructions and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to mitigate production risks
- Coordinate with HR on department staffing needs and training programs
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and evaluations
- Promote cross‑training to build a flexible, skilled workforce
- Resolve production issues through root cause analysis and corrective action
- Maintain a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards, utilizing 5S
- Communicate effectively with department supervisors, material handlers, and other departments
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Ability to adapt and solve problems in a fast‑paced environment
- Customer‑focused with a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to stand, kneel, squat, and climb for extended periods
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs consistently
- Full‑time, 40+ hours per week
- Saturday work may be required depending on production needs
- Overtime as approved by the Production Manager
