We are seeking a reliable and skilled Sheet Metal Shop Helper to join our team. This role supports daily shop operations by assisting in the fabrication and installation of sheet metal products. Responsibilities- Operate shop equipment including shears, brake presses, roll formers, and other sheet metal tools
- Use hand tools to cut, bend, and fasten sheet metal components
- Read and interpret metal layout drawings for accurate fitting and fabrication
- Accurately measure and mark dimensions and reference points using a tape measure
- Select appropriate types of sheet metal based on project requirements
- Assist with the installation of fabricated metal products
- Fabricate and assemble items such as ductwork, fittings, curbs, and furnace plenums
- Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
- Experience and confidence using hand tools and machinery to safely work with sheet metal
- Ability to work safely, confidently, and efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
- Dependable team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Physically able to walk, stand, crawl, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday
- Willingness to support company values and provide quality service
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Prior sheet metal or fabrication experience preferred
- Willing to train the right candidate
- Pay Range: $17.00 – $23.00 per hour (based on experience)

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
