As an Automation Technician you’ll be part of our manufacturing engineering located in Hesston, KS. You’ll get to:

• Program new weld jobs on robotic weld cells (≈10%)
• Make program adjustments to automated fabrication equipment (≈15%)
• Develop maintenance programs and perform or oversee preventative maintenance schedules (≈15%)
• Troubleshoot problems with programs/equipment; work closely with maintenance and equipment vendors as needed (≈15%)
• Monitor for corrective action and reduce downtime impacts (≈10%)
• Perform data‑driven projects and other duties as directed by Supervisor; may require leadership in project management (≈15%)
• Monitor machine efficiencies weekly (≈10%)
• Nesting jobs for lasers and programming for press brakes
• Commit to safety
• Identify problems and review related information to develop and implement solutions
• Handle multiple priorities
• Read and understand manufacturing drawings, including weld callouts and quality requirements
