Machinist

We are looking for a Machinist to join our production team in North America. You will report to the Shop Supervisor and be part of the Operations team.

• Set up, program, and operate various tools and equipment to create, modify, or repair precision parts.
• Monitor machinery during production and conduct regular quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail to support high-quality production.
• Demonstrate good communication with supervisors, leads, co-workers, and support departments.
• Maintain value-added time management and plan setups to sustain throughput.
• Verify customer requirements using precision measuring equipment to maintain quality throughout the process.
• Meet or exceed quality standards and manage scrap parts due to workmanship.
• Work with advanced blueprint capabilities, including identifying missing dimensions.
• Maintain a logbook of problems encountered during production and communicate issues to Lead Person/Supervisor/Engineering/Programming.
• Perform or learn shop floor editing and programming as required to maintain throughput or improve quality/productivity.
• Evaluate setup and run documents and processes to implement improvements in quality or productivity.
• Plan next setups and ensure setup packets, programs, prints, charts, fixtures, cutters, and cams are up-to-date and available.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as a Machinist or similar role
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions
• Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements
• Strong mathematical and communication skills
• Attention to detail and self-motivation
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs with ease
• Willing to train the right candidate to fulfill this role
