• Reports directly to:
  Ferrous Supervisor
• Purpose:
  
  Operate equipment in the processing, loading, & unloading of scrap metal.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must pass random drug tests throughout employment.
• Willingness to be trained in industry-specific operations and procedures.
• Work at either business location as needed.
• Ability to operate excavator, material handler, wheel loader, skid steer.
• Perform daily start-up inspections (fluid levels, equipment condition, attachments, etc.).
• Report any equipment issues to Supervisor and/or Yard Manager.
• Ability to operate cutting torch.
• Use hand tools and perform minor maintenance on equipment.
• Unload customers in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. as necessary.
• Be a team player, help in other areas as needed.
• Maintain good attendance and be at work when scheduled.
