• Familiarity with FANUC controls
• Firm understanding and familiarity with running 3-, 4-, or 5-Axis CNC machines.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials in machines and tooling for machining parts in accordance with internal setup documents.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth/angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media per established guidelines.
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine control media as required.
• Verify conformance of workmanship to specifications using measuring and inspection tools.
• Confere with production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining problems.
• Adhere to internal health and safety protocols to perform duties.
