LTL Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and motivated LTL Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) division. This role is responsible for leading a high-performing domestic operations team across multiple U.S. locations, ensuring service excellence, optimizing processes, and managing carrier relationships.

• 5+ years of supervisory experience leading operational teams within logitics or transportation
• 5+ years of LTL or domestic freight industry experience, with a deep understanding of load planning, carrier, shipment tracking, and LTL processes
• Proven success managing KPIs such as on-time delivery, cost-per-shipment, claims ratio, and department productivity
• Background in customer service with experience resolving complex or escalated issues
• Skilled in building positive team culture, maintaining accountability, and motivating employees to meet deadlines and departmental goals
• Strong understanding of LTL operations, DOT and FMCSA compliance, and standard transportation documentation

• Manage daily LTL operations including load planning, carrier assignments, and shipment tracking
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and internal safety standards
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with LTL carriers; negotiate service terms when necessary
• Work independently under pressure while remaining positive and focused
• Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations
• Support budgeting, cost control, and resource planning efforts
