Data Center Technician

The Data Center Technician I plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational excellence and cleanliness standards of our controlled environments. This position ensures that all surfaces, including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors, are meticulously maintained to meet the cleanliness requirements of a data center setting.

Monday – Friday 3:30pm – 12:00am

• Perform cleaning operations under strict guidelines. Continually monitor the cleaning procedures to ensure all cleaning is completed promptly and correctly.
• Participate in continuous training:
  Data Center, technical skills, safety, performance improvement.
• Clean all surfaces within the general and critical environment, including ceilings, walls, equipment, and floors.
• Follow customer standard operating procedures in precise detail, including documentation.
• Identify deviations in cleaning and follow through on corrective and preventative actions (variances).
• Review changes to SOP/SOW documentation and retrain as needed.
• Assist in cross-training other Controlled Contamination Services personnel.
• Perform any other duties as defined by supervisor.

• Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
• Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Pass a background check and I-9.

• High school diploma or GED; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers and numbers with tens and hundreds; perform operations using units of American money, weight, volume, and distance.
