We are looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our hospital team. In this important role, you'll help ensure our facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming for patients, visitors, and staff. • Perform skilled maintenance and repair work on hospital equipment, machinery, and building systems to support safe and reliable operations
• Assist with hospital grounds upkeep and operate light trucks to pick up and deliver items within the local area
• Complete journeyman-level maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and facility systems
• Work from diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications to complete tasks accurately
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments
• Perform general repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems
• Review maintenance schedules and help assign work requests to ensure timely completion
• Provide general maintenance support across electrical, plumbing, heating, and mechanical systems
• Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced maintenance staff when needed
• Assist with painting and touch-up work, including in sterile or sensitive environments, as required
