Maintenance Mechanic at Citizens Health

Citizens Health is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Mechanic for our plant operations department. Our organization is a community‑based, private, not‑for‑profit, located in northwest Kansas. We serve the following facilities:

• Citizens Medical Center – a 25 bed critical access hospital
• Family Center for Health Care – an outpatient rural health clinic
• Prairie Senior – a skilled nursing facility
• Citizens Clubhouse – onsite childcare for workers, ages 6 weeks to school age
• Citizens Medical Equipment – durable medical equipment business
• Palace Drug Store – outpatient pharmacy

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM, with after‑hours and weekend call every fifth week.

Pay:
Dependent on experience.

• Perform preventative maintenance work.
• Repair building and equipment.
• Perform building and remodeling projects.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• At least two years in a building trade (electricity, plumbing, carpentry, etc.).
• High school diploma or GED.

Exposed to hazards from electrical, mechanical, and power equipment; toxic chemicals; high or precarious locations (ladders, scaffolding); steam, heat, hot or noisy equipment. This list is not exhaustive.
