Location: Long Island

SCM Products, Inc. is a growing company located in Long Island that produces products for the financial, presentation, and emergency service industry. We are currently seeking a Software Support Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to grow with our company! Training on our existing products will be provided. Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance on our software applications

Install applications on client servers

Troubleshoot application issues

Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically

Track customer issues and resolutions

Testing of new applications that the software engineering team develops

Qualifications

Looking for 5+ years of experience

Experience with SQL Server

Experience with HTML a plus

Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields

Ability to build rapport with clients

Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

Positive and professional demeanor

Work well in a team or individually
