OverviewJoin Our Team at Ellsworth County EMS! Are you ready to make a difference in a progressive and supportive EMS environment? Ellsworth County EMS, located in the heart of Central Kansas, is currently hiring full-time AEMTs to join our growing team.
We are a Type II EMS service responding to approximately 1,000 calls per year. Our team enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment alongside local hospitals, fire departments, and law enforcement agencies.

Responsibilities and What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking motivated EMS professionals with:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications:
- A current Kansas EMS certification (EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic)
- A valid driver’s license
- A desire to work in a progressive, protocol-driven system
All candidates must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening upon offer of employment.
Compensation Based on Certification &
Experience:
AEMT: $44,000 – $59,000
