The facility is an acute‑care hospital under 50 beds, not for profit, serving several counties.

• Provide health‑care services to patients under the direction and responsibility of a physician.
• Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive care, assist in surgery and write prescriptions.
• Obtain detailed history and perform physical examinations.
• Perform or order X‑rays, electrocardiograms, laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures and interpret results.
• Administer therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care.
• Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, home care and health maintenance.
• Maintain required records and write progress notes on patient charts using electronic medical records.

• Completion of a PA program or APRN program.
• Certification and state licensure required.
• Must be certified as a PA or APRN and possess sufficient clinical skills to work independently under the direction of a board‑certified orthopedic surgeon.
• Excellent communication skills; willing and flexible with schedules and work hours. BLS required.

• Full‑time position; 24‑hour shift with no set schedule on days worked. A sleep room is offered.
• Range: $110K–$140K, dependent on years of experience.
