Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA

Overview

• Provide total care for residents, including activities of daily living (ADLs) such as washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care and catheter care.
• Follow the resident plan of care/CNA assignment card and document observations (temperature, pulse, respiration, weight).
• Record changes in condition, attitude, appetite, and behavior; observe and report as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA requirements and facility policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate a warm and friendly demeanor to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.

• Completed a state approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current Kansas certification/registration to practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.

Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required.

This full-time health care position works 12-hour shifts. 3 day weekends every other weekend. Never work more than 3 days in a row. Average 2 hours of overtime every week.

• Earns a competitive salary of $21.00 to $24.78 per hour with a $250 Sign-on bonus and referral bonus.
