a day in the life of a cook: as a cook, you play a vital role in our community. You prepare meals for residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines and ensure the quality and temperature of food items. You maintain safety and sanitary conditions and comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

You provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues. You take pride in the difference you make in the lives of our residents and strive to excel in this cook position.

• must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• cook experience preferred but not required. A willingness to learn is needed.
• solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• ability to read, write and speak english sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.

experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required. Are you trustworthy and respectful of others?
