BH Case Manager I – Western Kansas (Field)

This is a field-based role where the clinician will meet with members in facilities and/or homes. Kansas licensed master’s level clinicians living in Dodge City, Garden City, Liberal, Hays, Scott City, Norton, Phillipsburg, Smith Center, St Francis, Goodland, Ulysses, Lakin, Ness City, Hutchinson, Pratt, Hugoton, Great Bend, Marysville, Junction City, Manhattan are encouraged to apply.

Field – traveling to client sites or designated locations. Occasional office attendance may be required. Candidates must be within a reasonable commuting distance from one of the listed cities unless legally required accommodation is granted.

• Use appropriate screening criteria and clinical judgment to assess member needs.
• Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and develop a care plan to address objectives and goals identified during assessment.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan and modify it as needed.
• Support member access to appropriate quality and cost‑effective care.
• Coordinate with internal and external resources to meet identified member needs and collaborate with providers.

• Requires MA/MS in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field, or a nursing degree, with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in social work counseling covering complex psychiatric and substance abuse treatment. Equivalent background may be provided by a combination of education and experience.
• Current active, unrestricted license such as RN, LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LPC,FT LMSW, or Clinical Psychologist to practice within the scope of licensure in Kansas.

• Experience in case management and telephonic and/or in‑person coaching with members presenting complex psychiatric, substance abuse, and/or medical disorders.
