as a dietary aide, you play a vital role in our community. You assist in preparing and serving meals to residents, starting with carefully setting up trays and serving regular meals, preparing snack items and food requests for special events. You provide a high level of customer service by distributing food in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual resident meals according to specified diet orders and an approved menu.

you keep a close eye on details, ensuring the quality and temperature of food items. You deliver and retrieve trays by the end of meal dining time and wash dishes. You maintain safety and sanitary conditions by picking up food and trash, cleaning tables, chairs, and other food service equipment and utensils.

you comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, maintaining knowledge of and following all company policies and procedures. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and your colleagues. • must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements, and follow written and oral instructions.
• no experience required; a willingness to learn is needed.
• solid communication skills, attention to detail, and multi‑tasking skills.
• demonstrated ability to anticipate resident needs.
• ability to read, write, and speak english sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors, and team members.
