We're excited to welcome a friendly, dependable Patient Account Representative to our Business Office team. You'll play a meaningful part in creating a positive experience for patients and coworkers.
Key Responsibilities- Register patients in a timely and accurate manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism
- Verify and update patient and insurance information
- Assist with scheduling, data entry, and general office support
- Deliver friendly and efficient customer service to patients, staff, and visitors
- Complete other duties as assigned to support the department as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical office setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
