Diet Aide​/Dishwasher - LTC

Citizens Health is recruiting diet aides to work full-time or part-time in the food service department at Prairie Senior, our skilled nursing facility located at 100 E College Ave, Colby, Kansas
.

• Assist in preparing and serving resident meals and snacks.
• Follow established governmental regulations, departmental policies, and procedures.
• Complete assigned cleaning duties according to sanitation procedures and document the completion of such duties.
• Complete documentation of temperatures and meal counts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school graduate or GED (preferred). Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Experience in an institutional or food service setting preferred, but not required.
• Basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Ability to recognize quality service, sanitary conditions, and efficient work procedures, and to interact professionally with residents and families.
