Peabody Health and Rehab in Peabody, KS is looking to hire a full‑time and part‑time Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you play a vital role in delivering meals to residents. You prepare and serve meals, prepare snack items, handle special event food requests, distribute food according to dietary guidelines and individual orders, ensure food quality and temperature, retrieve trays after dining, wash dishes, maintain cleanliness of tables and food service equipment, comply with laws and regulations, and provide excellent customer service.

Your warm and friendly demeanor builds relationships with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.

• Basic arithmetic skill, ability to understand measurements, and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required – willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and multi‑tasking ability.
• Ability to anticipate resident needs.
• Competent in reading, writing and speaking English to perform job duties and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.

Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required. Trustworthiness, respect for others, dependability, professionalism, and teamwork are essential. If you enjoy serving and caring for seniors, you may be a good fit.

This full‑time dietary position works days, evenings and weekends. Part‑time positions are available for evening and weekend shifts.
