A Typical DayAs a Tax Associate you will be supported by an expert team and have the flexibility and earnings to fit your life.
Responsibilities- Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and via virtual tools—video, phone, chat, email
- Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
- Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
- Provide support to clients under IRS guidance
- Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration
- Grow your tax expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Previous experience in customer service or retail environment
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment
- Ability to work a minimum of 25‑35 hours weekly during tax season, up to 40 hours during peak weeks
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
- Comfort using virtual tools—video, phone, chat
- Effective communication in person, via phone, and in writing
- Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
- High school diploma or higher

Salary: $139,000 – $209,000 annually
