Elementary Title I Reading/Reading Interventionist Teacher – Westmoreland Elementary, USD 323, Rock Creek USD 323, Westmoreland, Kansas.

Westmoreland Elementary has an opening for a Title I Reading/Reading Interventionist Teacher for the  school year.

Responsibilities include:

• Organize and interpret assessment data using district approved assessment and protocols
• Serve as a resource to teachers by modeling use of district approved intervention instruments
• Utilize best-practice strategies and research based interventions to meet the learning needs of identified students
• Other duties as deemed appropriate and assigned by district or building administration

Applicants should hold or be eligible for a valid Kansas teaching license with the appropriate endorsements.

This position will remain open until filled.

USD 323 gives full credit for years of teaching experience, upon initial placement on the salary schedule. Entry level (25-26 year), zero years experience is $44,565. Single paid health insurance policy is part of the contract. Paid leave benefits, optional dental insurance, cafeteria plan, Section 125 & KPERS.
