USD 460 is seeking a passionate Art Teacher to join our school community. This position offers flexibility in assignment, with the opportunity to teach at the high school, the middle school, or a combination of both, based on the candidate’s strengths and program needs. Candidates should hold a Kansas teaching license or be eligible to obtain one.
Position Responsibilities- Provide high-quality art instruction that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and skill development
- Design and implement engaging lessons aligned with state standards

Employer InformationApproximately 870 students attend the schools that comprise Hesston USD 460 . The district operates two educational buildings, including one elementary school (grades K-4) and a newly constructed (2025) 5-12 building that houses the middle school (grades 5-8), and high school (grades 9-12). The transportation area of the district encompasses 60 square miles. Hesston USD 460 takes pride in its reputation of excellence in academic achievement, activities, athletics, and fine arts.
The USD 460 staff includes approximately 70 licensed personnel (teachers/administrators) and 60 classified employees. Together, we are working to make Hesston Schools a place where all students succeed!
