Responsibilities

• Instruction: Develop and implement lesson plans for mathematics that adhere to Kansas College and Career Ready Standards.
• Assessment: Monitor student progress through assignments, quizzes, and tests to evaluate learning and differentiate instruction.
• Environment: Maintain a positive, safe, and structured classroom management system.
• Collaboration: Work with colleagues, special education staff, and parents to support individual student needs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records regarding student progress, attendance, and grades.

• Qualifications: A valid Kansas teaching license with appropriate endorsement (Mathematics 6-8, Middle Level Math).
• Skills: Strong knowledge of mathematics, classroom management, and ability to use technology for instruction.
• Commitment: Dedication to student success and improving school-wide performance.

Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
