Lincoln Memorial Elementary is seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st Grade Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster foundational literacy and numeracy skills, support social-emotional development, and create an engaging classroom environment that supports the whole child.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver standards-based instruction aligned with Kansas state standards
Implement research-based literacy and math practices to support early learning development
Create a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, responsibility, and collaboration
Use assessment data to guide instruction and support student growth
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities
Collaborate with grade-level teams, intervention staff, and support personnel
Support school initiatives including MTSS, family engagement, and social-emotional learning
