USD 112 Central Plains is currently taking applications for a band teacher for the school year. The position would include teaching beginning band for 5th and 6th grades at Central Plains Elementary School in Holyrood and 7th through 12 grade band at Central Plains Jr-Sr High School in Claflin. Interested applicants must have a current Kansas Teaching license with the proper endorsements, or in the process of obtaining a license.

Salary Information
Currently, base salary for a first-year teacher is $41,000 (BA Step
1). The district will also pay $7,416 annually towards the group health insurance plan, which is Blue Cross/Blue Shield through the Greenbush Consortium.
