Quinter has a hospital, long-term and assisted living facility, dentist, optometrist, public schools, financial institutions, newspaper, swimming pool, golf course, motel, RV park, agricultural and service businesses, and a diversity of religious facilities. Quinter schools are state accredited and have an enrollment of 201 students in the elementary school and 103 students in the junior/senior high school. This close-knit school system daily enhances children's creative and academic gifts in various ways, including art and music classes. Quinter schools offer small class sizes, enrichment opportunities, and a complete curriculum including calculus, physics, and chemistry. Eighty-five percent of graduating students continue on to universities or technical schools.

The school district provides transportation to/from school for 68% of the students.
