Full paid single health insurance premium with BC/BS. Eleven sick days, 3 of the 11 days may be used as personal leave.
Salary InformationSalary based on experience and level of education. $46,500 base salary
Employer InformationTroy is located approximately 16 miles west of St. Joseph, Missouri and 65 miles northeast of Topeka. It is the county seat of Doniphan County. A small, rural community with small town values.
The elementary (grades PreK-5) has a current enrollment of 170 students. There are also the following additional classrooms: a music room, a library media center, gymnasium, Title I classroom, Math Resource room, conference room and the district office.
The middle school current enrollment is 65. The building has six classrooms.
The high school was built in 1926 but has many modern addition and features. The high school has a Mac Lab to help students learn the most recent media skills. The current enrollment is 95. The high school participates in 1A district activities. The high school is currently a member of the Northeast Kansas League. Each building has a wireless computer system.
Grades 3-12 are 1 to 1 Chromebooks. Grades K-2 are 1 - 1 devices. SMART Board technology is available in the classrooms. Grades 6-12 have a take‑home device program. The district supplies each teacher with a laptop and all needed technology.
