• Attend meetings and perform duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.
• Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
• Serve on committees as assigned.
• Remain current on instructional practices in education (e.g., instructional technology).

Solomon USD #393 is located midway between Abilene and Salina on Interstate 70. Our district schools are all in one location. The high school was newly built in 1996 and is currently ranked as a 2A school. Current enrollment, Pre-K through 12th grade is approximately 408 students. We have just opened a NEW PK-4th grade school in the fall of 2023.

Solomon features both all-day kindergartens, all-day 4-year-old preschool classes, starting in the fall of 2023, and an Early Learning Center for 6 weeks to school-age children all on our campus. ALL programs meet 5 days a week. Solomon offers after-school programs for students Pre K-4th grade also. The district hosts Salina Area Technical College classes on campus and provides transportation to their campus for additional courses.

Students can earn up to 30 college class for FREE with community service projects and civic engagement opening up those wonderful opportunities. Class sizes average 30 students per grade. Solomon schools are a very friendly environment and have strong and active community support.
