We currently offer $520 towards a single health plan through Blue Cross and Blue Shield. The district also provides 12 days a year for sick or personal leave plus an additional 3 professional days of your choice. Base salary: $41,200.

Rural Vista (USD 481) comprises two K‑12 schools, Hope Schools and White City Schools. The district offers small‑town connections with affordable housing and close proximity to a major city. With a 10:1 student‑to‑teacher ratio, every student and educator benefits from a strong learning environment and a two‑year in‑house mentoring program for new teachers. Additionally, Hope and White City high schools are 1:1 with Google Chrome Books, supporting modern technology in the classroom.
