About the RoleORION Education and Training is seeking a Teacher for the Juvenile Detention Facility in Wichita. This is a meaningful teaching opportunity where you will provide education and structure to students in a safe, supportive, and secure learning environment.

This role is ideal for educators who have experience in classroom management and secondary education.

What you will do:

Provide classroom instruction for grades 6-12

Deliver and adapt lesson plans to meet student needs

Support student learning using technology

Manage classroom behavior with professionalism and consistency

Remain calm and effective during times of disruption, chaos, or crisis

What Were Looking For :

Bachelors degree in Education Kansas Substitute Teaching License may be considered

Preference for candidates with secondary teaching licensure

Strong skills in communication, organization, and classroom management

Proficiency in technology-based teaching tools (Google Classroom, Microsoft Office, etc.)Experience working with diverse learners a plus
