The hospital is a small independent critical access hospital. The position is ideally suited for a boarded FP/ER physician with ER experience. We have a current need for part time.
Responsibilities- Daily volume runs 15-20 patients per day
- 12 and 24-hour shifts
- EMR system is Meditech
- Dictation is Dragon
- A+ Malpractice Insurance paid
- Alma is Georgia’s Blueberry Capital, hosting the Blueberry festival each June
- No traffic
- Proximate to Atlantic and Gulf Beaches
- Many historical sights to visit
- Availability of locally grown food
- Small town feel with big city amenities
- Proximity to Atlanta is a three-hour drive and 90 minutes to Savannah
- EM experience required
- Current ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications
