# Travel Support Consultant This role forms part of the Travel Support team based at Pezula Nature Retreat in Knysna.
** The Role
** As Reservations Consultant, you’ll form part of a professional reservations team responsible for handling guest and agent bookings across the Village n Life portfolio through the Travel Support Channel platform. You’ll assist with enquiries, quotations and reservations while ensuring accuracy, efficiency and exceptional service throughout the guest booking journey.

** Key Responsibilities**– Respond to reservation enquiries via phone, email and online channels as part of the team schedule  – Prepare quotations, confirmations and pro-forma invoices within set timelines  – Record and process reservations accurately on Opera PMS and other systems  – Manage amendments, early departures, cancellations, extensions and ‘no-show’ follow-ups  – Assist with transfers, meal and group booking coordination where required  – Communicate with travel agents, corporate clients and internal property teams  – Ensure smooth handovers of booking details to property and operations teams  – Stay informed of rates, packages, and promotions across the Village n Life portfolio  – Support the team in monthly OTA reconciliations and related admin tasks  – Contribute to revenue growth through upselling and suggestive selling techniques  – Resolve guest queries with care and professionalism
** What We’re Looking For**– Grade 12 (Matric) and a hospitality qualification (advantageous)  – Experience in a similar reservations or hospitality position  – Working knowledge of Opera or similar PMS systems (advantageous)  – Excellent written and verbal communication  – Detail-oriented with strong administrative and organisational skills  – A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for guest service  – Ability to work well within a structured team environment
