About the Job

We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern who is passionate about all things social media, has intermediate-level image and video editing skills, strategic mindset, and a knack for process and organization improvements.

The ideal candidate is a talented, go-getter student who will assist in the content strategy and development of Essense’s global social media channels.

What You’ll Do

• Perform quality assurance on all video and still images
• Complete basic-level content creation as directed
• Upload assets to all tools used within the Social team
• Assist in naming and maintaining digital asset file/structure organization
• Contribute to weekly and monthly reporting including identify insights or new opportunities
• Collaborate with Social Strategy team to build competitive analysis and social media best practices
• Partner with Community Management team to identify opportunistic engagements, social media trends, and social listening insights
• Responsible for completion of work to daily and weekly deadlines
• Ability to receive creative direction from Social Creative Manager and Specialist
• Proactive and able to show initiative

What You’ll Need

• Current student or recent graduate of Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design university program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom)
• Intermediate video and photo editing skills for social content
• Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines with pressure andchange
• Proactive and able to take initiative
• Excellent eye for detail
• Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
• Previous experience working with video and still image editing
