This position requires travel!

A Heavy Highway Laborer performs manual and equipment-based tasks for road construction, maintenance, and repair, including pothole patching, asphalt work, traffic control, and sign/guardrail repair, often operating loaders. They work with hand/power tools, manage materials, ensure safety, and often work as part of a crew.

We will train and teach you the necessary skills to help your chances for promotions and raises.

• Road Maintenance:
  Patching potholes, sealing cracks, applying asphalt/gravel, sweeping, and cleaning roads.
• Equipment Operation:
  Safely operating trucks, loaders, backhoes, rollers, pavers, and/or skid loaders.
• Site Upkeep:
  Managing traffic control (flagging, barricades).
• Safety & Equipment:
  Performing safety checks, basic vehicle maintenance, and adhering to safety procedures.

• Physical Stamina:
  Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in extreme weather.
• Teamwork:
  Effective communication and ability to work well with others.
• Safety Focus:
  Following strict safety protocols and regulations.
• Mechanical Aptitude:
  Basic understanding of equipment operation and maintenance.
• Versatility:
  Willingness to perform a wide variety of manual and skilled tasks.

• Over 18 years of age
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Complete and pass pre-employment testing, including a drug screen and physical
• High school education or GED equivalent
