Overview
TFI Family Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Foster Care Worker to join our team. We are committed to our mission of strengthening families and advocating for children's well-being.
Average Hourly Rate: $23.25 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)
Job DescriptionAs a Foster Care Worker, you will work closely with children and families to ensure children can thrive safely in their home environments. You will teach skills such as emotion regulation, healthy communication, conflict resolution, and building healthy relationships. Additionally, you will support foster parents by helping train, license, and guide them in providing the best care for the children in their homes.
Responsibilities- Work with children and families to support safe, healthy home environments.
- Teach skills in emotion regulation, healthy communication, conflict resolution, and building healthy relationships.
- Support and guide foster parents in training and licensing processes to provide quality care.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field with two or more years of experience in the human services field.
