Warehouse Associate role at Shoppa's Material Handling

The primary function of a Warehouse Associate is to receive shipments and restock orders, keep track of inventory, replenish parts used by the Field Service Techs daily, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space. The ideal candidate would have prior warehouse and forklift experience in a basic shop operation.

• Signs for factory deliveries of company products.
• Organizes and restocks products in the warehouse.
• Takes inventory of all supplies, and reorders materials as necessary.
• Inspects all goods being shipped and received, reporting any defective or damaged items.
• Responsible for following company safety rules as well as maintaining job site safety.
• Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.

• Must be age 18 or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Read, write and converse in English.
• Must be able to carry out both written and oral instructions.
• Required to follow posted safety rules and safe operating procedures on forklift to insure proper techniques, such as lifting are performed in the manner described.

Sitting, standing, and walking (up to continuously); frequent use of computer and telephone requiring repetitive finger, hand, and arm movement; occasionally carry office supplies and other miscellaneous items up to 50 pounds. Continuous use of seeing, hearing, verbal communication.

Work indoors and outdoors; exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.
