Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery Driver – Kansas City, MO. Direct-Hire;

Due to continued growth we are currently accepting applications for Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery Drivers to work out of Kansas City, MO.
- Expected annual salary $85,000-$90,000 per year, which includes:
- Activity-based pay including miles, stops, detention, per diem, etc.
- Routes are typically miles per week.
- Typical work days are 10-14 hours.
- Annual safety bonus up to $2,000 per year and other driver incentives.

- Monday-Friday, Saturdays as needed.
- Start times typically 5:00am, work until work is completed.
- Routes cover surrounding states and may include 1-2 overnights per week (additional pay for overnights).
- Make 3-6 stops per day, depending on route.
- Must be flexible with work schedule and route assignments.
- Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations.
- Delivering and unloading hardware products to warehouses and retail/end users.
- Touch freight, driver unload using pallet-jack, lift-gate, and sometimes hand cart.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
- Reporting maintenance/repair issues on trucks and/or equipment.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License.
- Hazmat endorsement required, or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical.
- Minimum of 12 months of CDL A tractor-trailer experience highly preferred. Applicants with less than 1 year of experience may be considered and could qualify for an accelerated comprehensive training program.
- Previous touch freight unloading experience highly preferred.
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
- Be able to lift, push, pull 75 pounds with no assistance.
