Carrier Sales Representative

The Carrier Representative plays a key role in supporting Unlimited Logistics by sourcing capacity, negotiating rates, and managing carrier relationships across multiple transportation modes. This position operates in a fast paced, sales driven, high volume environment and requires consistent outbound and inbound phone activity throughout the day.

The ideal candidate is competitive, quick thinking, and comfortable spending most of the day on the phone securing capacity, solving problems, and keeping freight moving.

• Source, qualify, and manage relationships with carriers across truckload, LTL, refrigerated, and other applicable modes
• Make high volume outbound and inbound phone calls to cover loads and secure capacity quickly
• Negotiate rates and payment terms while balancing margin, service expectations, and urgency
• Coordinate and dispatch loads with clear communication to ensure on time pickup and delivery
• Monitor loads in transit and proactively resolve issues related to delays, service failures, or changes
• Work with carriers approved through Highway and company requirements
• Build long term relationships with reliable carriers to secure consistent capacity
• Partner closely with operations and account management teams to support customer needs
• Maintain accurate carrier and load activity within TMS and internal systems
• Communicate continuously throughout the day via phone, email, and internal messaging tools

• 1 to 3 plus years of experience in logistics, dispatch, carrier sales, or brokerage operations
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced, sales driven, phone heavy environment
• Strong negotiation skills and comfort handling objections
• Clear, confident communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized under pressure
• Familiarity with TMS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
