Quality Engineer

Summary

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to drive end-to-end quality in close collaboration with developers, product owners, and other key stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products. This role requires strong ownership to define, implement, and champion quality practices that ensure high-impact delivery.

Responsibilities

* Analyze, design, test, and deliver technology solutions for business areas and implement and execute comprehensive software quality assurance strategies.

* Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.

* Develop, maintain, and execute manual test scripts.

* Assist in building a CI/CD pipeline to execute test scripts on a schedule.

* Work across teams to validate end-to-end flows.

* Document, track, and resolve software defects or issues in collaboration with the Product Delivery Team.

* Ensure quality is built into the software solution throughout the software development lifecycle by performing peer reviews and leveraging relevant quality assurance processes and technologies.

* Develop and communicate software quality metrics that report the reliability, compliance/accessibility, performance, and security of the software products and services developed.

* Work closely with the delivery partner to clarify and align software quality assurance services with the product delivery approach and schedule.

Requirements

* Experience working as a Sr. Quality Engineer for at least 5 years, with 10+ years of experience overall.

* Hands-on experience with test automation tools including Cypress and Selenium.

* Hands-on experience with performance testing tools including JMeter.

* Hands-on experience with JavaScript/Typescript and Java.

* Experience working with Cloud providers including AWS.

* Experience in UI and API automation in Web applications.

* Broad and in-depth understanding and experience in successfully applying quality assurance and testing disciplines.

Preferred

* Testing skills and experience with Agile, Cloud-based delivery in close alignment with an application development team.

* Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

* Experienced in providing manual and automated testing services to ensure the quality of strategic and high-priority applications.

* Solid understanding of test automation best practices; ability to architect, develop, and debug medium to complex automation scripts.

* Solid understanding of the software development process and major technology terms.

* Knowledge of Salesforce.
