We are seeking a Backend Software Developer (Freelance/P. IVA) to collaborate on an innovative project developed by Startup Bakery.

You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend solutions, working closely with the product, data, and engineering teams. In a dynamic and flexible environment, you will actively contribute to technical decisions and directly see the impact of your work.

• Design and develop scalable and reliable APIs.
• Contribute to the development of data-intensive and AI-based backend systems.
• Develop and manage databases and backend applications.
• Collaborate with data scientists and other engineers to enhance software solutions.
• Ensure high code quality, performance, and scalability.

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Over 4 years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer / Developer.
• Excellent knowledge of Node.js, PHP, Laravel, Python
  .
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or AWS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch
  .
• Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.

• Freelance collaboration (P. IVA required).
• Remote-first approach, with the option to access our Milan office.
