Join Denta Quest as a Backend Software Engineer to support IT objectives by developing APIs and integrating system components within a hybrid work environment.

• Support existing applications, monitor system performance, and work with cross‑functional IT teams to resolve issues.
• Use troubleshooting skills to identify, research, and propose solutions, including necessary changes or corrective actions.
• Execute the full software‑development lifecycle, writing well‑designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Produce specifications, determine operational feasibility, and develop verification plans and QA procedures.
• Integrate software components into fully functional systems, tailor and deploy tools, processes, and metrics.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, comply with project plans, and maintain documentation.

• 3+ years of experience developing APIs in .NET (C#), Python, or Java.
• Strong technical skills and ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.
• Fast learner who adapts quickly to changing business needs and evolving technologies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Deep understanding of Azure and AWS; experience designing cloud‑native applications using serverless and containerized architectures.
• Extensive experience with BFF design patterns, API Gateway, and middleware solutions.
• Strong experience with authentication and security using Okta, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Strong knowledge of Dev Ops, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates).
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (ELK, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk).
• Experience in agile development, leading technical discussions, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Extensive knowledge of building REST and Graph
  
  QL APIs.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $79,300 – $119,000 per annum, plus discretionary annual incentive award based on performance.
