* Job Description:

** Wastequip WRX’s service division has an immediate opportunity for a Lead Service Tech to support our Pacific, WA service operation. This role is critical to ensure the reliability and performance of our customers’ equipment along with supporting Wastequip.
** Hourly rate range: $46.00 - $50.00 (Based on experience) + Quarterly bonuses.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on all makes of refuse equipment. (e.g., front loaders, rear loaders, roll-offs, automated side loaders).
* Utilize welding and fabricating skills to repair and maintain equipment.
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
* Communicate effectively with customers and the internal service team.
* Travel may be required for on-site repairs at customer locations.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics.
* Support and maintain equipment across Wastequip’s internal brands, ensuring consistency in service quality and technical standards.
* Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and OSHA standards.

* Qualifications:

*** Proven experience in heavy equipment repair, preferably in refuse or fleet services.
* The ideal candidate will bring leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and service excellence.
* Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Must have the ability to read and repair hydraulic systems along with electrical schematics and repair and diagnose connections of circuitry.
* Ability to lift 50lbs plus, bend, stoop, kneel and climb ladders.
* Above all, must be able to work closely with co-workers or other team members.
* Proficiency in welding and fabrication.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel as needed.
* The preferable candidate would have a CNG certificate and a CDL or must be able to obtain CNG Certificate and CDL after being hired.
