Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role located in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, conducting inspections to identify issues, and managing service requests. Additionally, this role will include maintaining building systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Maintenance Technician is expected to work with other team members and provide excellent service to residents or staff.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and prioritize repairs.
- Manage service requests and coordinate with residents or staff as needed.
- Maintain building systems and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other team members and provide high-quality service to residents or staff.
- Experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- Knowledge of carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for resolving maintenance issues.
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents and team members.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and adapt to changing work environments.
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting, climbing, and operating tools and equipment.
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional technical certifications are an advantage.
