Job DescriptionAre you a seasoned Stick Welder who thrives on precision, problem‑solving, and working in dynamic environments? We are seeking a dedicated professional who brings expertise, adaptability, and a strong team spirit to every project. This role involves diverse welding assignments across various locations, requiring a willingness to travel frequently.
Responsibilities- Analyze blueprints and specifications to plan welding layouts.
- Choose appropriate tools and techniques for each project.
- Prepare materials using grinders and other tools to meet exact specifications.
- Perform welding tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Inspect and test welds to ensure structural integrity.
- Repair and maintain structural components and machinery.
- Keep equipment in top condition to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
- Strong experience in stick welding, with a preference for pipe welding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Skilled in vertical, horizontal, and overhead welding.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Committed to following safety protocols and using proper protective equipment.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for effective team coordination.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Welding certification (e.g., AWS) preferred.
- Valid Class E driver’s license (or equivalent) within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record.
- Strong math and literacy skills.
- Willingness to travel 20% of the time.

Work in varying temperatures and sometimes uncomfortable environments. Engage in physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crawling, and climbing ladders or platforms. Operate mechanical tools and equipment for extended periods, up to 12 hours a day when required. The environment includes both outside and shop settings.
Location & TypePermanent placement position based out of Kansas City, Missouri. Fully onsite.
Pay & BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52,000.00 - $58,240.00/yr. Weekly pay with overtime after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week. 100% employer‑paid health insurance. Paid time off after one year of employment. $20,000 company‑paid life insurance. End‑of‑season performance‑based profit‑sharing bonus. 401(k) and Roth retirement plans with annual company contributions. Optional dental, vision, life, and short‑term disability insurance.
