Job Summary

As a successful Field
Service Technician
, you will work as part of a dedicated two-person crew completing scheduled service calls for residential, multi-family, and commercial properties. You will use company provided van, equipment, technology and software to manage schedules and build high quality reports with details and photos. An excellent Service Technician will efficiently manage service appointments, provide excellent customer service and has the ability to adapt to a changing work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer appointments and field dispatches
  • Meet with the client to greet them and explain the services you will be providing
  • Ensure the client signs the Terms and Conditions before work begins
  • Conduct routine equipment servicing out in the field
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment failures
  • Install and test new equipment
  • Provide preventive equipment maintenance
  • Maintain equipment and inventory in the company vehicle
  • Complete digital job reports with photos
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Able to work throughout the greater metropolitan area
  • Flexibility to work a variable schedule
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Some mechanical and electrical skills
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Physically fit and able to lift more than 40 with our assistance
  • Able to work from a ladder, not afraid of heights
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record (must be insurable)
  • Trade skills/license are beneficial but not required
