What You ll Do:

Field Service Technicians are responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of automatic and self serve car wash systems, ancillary products and chemicals. They play a key role in advising customers how to make changes to boost performance of their equipment to improve reliability, increase wash volume and revenue, and reduce customer costs. The Field Service Technician must assume the responsibilities listed below in the assigned territory and perform them with minimal supervision and coaching.

This position offers varying work schedules and a rotating on-call schedule. Some travel is required.

• Troubleshoot chemical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic equipment, PLC controllers and supplies
• Performs diagnostic analysis
• May assist in the installation of new car wash equipment
• Performs periodic scheduled and corrective maintenance of installed equipment in an assigned territory
• Repairs and corrects malfunctions as necessary
• Modifies or updates equipment when required
• Prepares detailed service and failure records and recommends changes to customer on a regular basis to improve customer revenues and reduce customer total costs
• Maintains tools, test equipment, and materials in a professional manner
• May work with processes that are unique or peculiar to specific customer needs
• Advises customers relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment
• Resolves customer complaints in a professional manner
• Interfaces with customers and appropriate related company personnel to ensure effective communications and dissemination of information required in establishing superior customer service
• Keeps current of new developments and innovations leading to improved departmental and company performance
• Requires technical knowledge to perform the job
• Develops improved methods for fulfilling responsibilities
• Accurately perceives information from others
• Assures appropriate flow of information and reports matters clearly, concisely and accurately

What We re Looking For:

• Industry
  
  Experience:
  
  Experience with car wash equipment, lift and lube equipment - service and maintenance, along with certifications in the following areas, is highly preferred.
• 2 years of trade school or equivalent in-field experience
• Understanding of PLC controllers, low voltage control circuits and 3 phase power
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams
• Experience with Car wash equipment a plus
• Customer Service Driven:Available to be on call and capable of completing all work efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships
• A Strong Educational Foundation:High school diploma or GED required
• Pre-Employment Testing

  Must pass drug test, background and DMVR check.
